New link to Kenya Kongonis Cricket Club We are the UK branch of the Kongonis Club based at Nairobi Club and provide an opportunity for all those who played cricket in Kenya and are now back in the UK, or who are visiting during July/August, to meet up for a two week tour in Sussex and Surrey
Why the pages ?
After
leaving Kenya back in 1981 at the age of 15 and having lived there since 1969, I
had a number of friends with whom I lost contact. Since 1999 I have managed to
find a number of them and was toying with the idea of setting up a web page so
that we could post our addresses (and then and now pictures if offered!) so that
we could have a central resource for others to find us. One of the cowboys -
Lester Kemp mentioned that perhaps we should get a domain name to host this site
and so here it is, very much in its infancy at the moment, but will hopefully
grow into something bigger through time. Who are we ?We are a group of ex-pats who were lucky enough to live in Kenya and went to school there.
