New link to Kenya Kongonis Cricket Club We are the UK branch of the Kongonis Club based at Nairobi Club and provide an opportunity for all those who played cricket in Kenya and are now back in the UK, or who are visiting during July/August, to meet up for a two week tour in Sussex and Surrey
I must get back on with this. Work and life has been a bit off putting for a wile so the site has suffered - sorry!. Send in any pictures please. And Lisa Wooding where are you?. Additions have been to the e-mail addresses and to the links. 03/05/02 Stefania Tamburino and Rob Mousley sent in some pics - enjoy - sorry not to have updated recently - lots on the go - like contract ends at the end of June! 11/02/2002 Added a message board! Abuse it and I won't be amused! 04/02/2002 More e-mail addresses, added the Hilllcrest pics, added some pics from John Martin, Updated the what are they like now page. 18/01/2002 Updated some pictures and sorrowfully added another entry to the obituaries. To those who have sent in e-mail addresses - sorry to be so far behind. Updated the Re-union page as it has not yet confirmed. Will continue to do it as I get chance.
11/11/2001 some pictures from a reunion at mandy (attwoods) smith's house (Thanx mandy it was great to see everyone again!) 28/09/2001 LOADS more photos - thanx to Stuart Cook and Mandy (Attwood) Smith. Sorry to have been out of it for a while - circumstances have not allowed me to get on with things on the site!- I will get back into it again soon - A couple more e-mail addresses this time though 22/05/2001 Some more obituaries - sorry. Some more e-mail addresses, re-union details. I'll get out of a self imposed depression one day and get back to work on the site in earnest. I thought it was about time to tell you all what has changed - saves you searching for it all yourself 31/03/2001 Added a guest book to the hillcrest events page for people to register their interest in going. Some new pictures here probably a couple of new e-mail addresses 17/03/2001 Added an events page, added some more e-mail addresses, started to try and sort out the hillcrest pictures into some sort of order, added some more pictures from now, updated the obituaries page 7/2/2001 Added a few more e-mail addresses 29/01/2001 Many thanks again to Dennis Rhodes for supplying a few more pics from Saints - He was back there in November last year (2000) - I will have to do the same when I can afford it. Trust you are all well. 26/12/2000 Nursing the christmas hang over and the Flu - I have now got round to updating a couple of things. Thanks to Dennis Rhodes for a couple of new pictures. One of Saints quad that can be found off a new link from the saints main page and one of dagoretti corner in Nov 2000, again thanks to Dennis. This one is of a new link on the pictures menu. 18/12/2000 Dawn Esnouf sent some pictures in - One of them has the Vesleys on it - Ingrid Parkison will be on here soon - when I find the picture! 08/12/2000 Sorry it has been so long - winter is setting in here and I go into semi-dormancy, Hibernation if you like, Its dark when I go to work, its dark when I get back. In the middle its dark as well - Oh it rains a lot and is damn cold - god I miss the old days (shut up now john!!) There are some more pictures and some more e-mail addresses. Sorry but the weather really poodles me off! 13/11/2000 Its been a while so I thought I would have a mess with the site again. I have started (but not finished) sorting out the hillcrest pictures into categories. Unfortunately a government ruling called IR35 has been taking up a bit of time recently. I begrudge governments taxing me at an effective rate of 52% just because I have my own company and contract out my IT services to other people but that seems to be the way it is in the modern world! If you want to know what IR35 is the follow this link www.pcgroup.org.uk 31/10/2000 A bit of time has passed since I last updated it. I have changed the saints intro page to be a picture of the school. Still have not sorted out the Hillcrest pictures into any order. Some more e-mails on the list - some more what are they like now pics. Sorry but winter is setting in here and it still does me in after 19 years!!!! 18/10/2000 Lots of new stuff if you were at saints - thanks to James Roberts - many memories for me and I am sure some of you may recognise others - I will soon sort out the hillcrest pages into more defined categories. 12/10/2000 Sorry - not much new - just a couple of new e-mail addresses and a new site to link to from them (James Roberts' site) 06/10/2000 I have added an obituaries page after Rick Mathews death this week. I could not believe it when it happened - much the same as the other friends who are mentioned on the page. Lets hope the rest of us hang together for longer. My sorrows and condolences go to Ricks family at this time as they did to Emmas and Mukeshes.. Its not nice (I will still get told off for using that word) to hear of these things. I have also added more pictures if me and my family to my bit on the web site - find us if you can! - Sorry if this sounds a bit crass but life must go on! 28/09/2000 Terry, You are a star, yet more pictures from the old days - with our trips out from hillcrest. I have started a hillcrest II link from the photos page to accomadate them all - come on you others - get it going - get the scanners out and get all of those photos to me! 20/09/2000 Yup - updated it again - more pics courtesy of Terry Chevako (now Bava) added to the hillcrest photos - at the bottom they are. Re-arranged the peoples pics of now onto a new page so I could manage them more easily - more e-mail addresses. I am also toying with the idea of splitting the hillcrest page up a bit any suggestions on how to do it would be welcome. These ones brought back loads of memories! 10/09/2000 Karen Boerema sent in loads of pics from Hillcrest '81 '82 (Thanks). They are now on the Hillcrest part of the web site here . 08/09/2000 Do you realise that in 10 years it will be the 08/09/10 - so there - added the squash picture under the hillcrest photos and added links to the new things 03/09/2000 Changed the Hillcrest photo link as Mr Rutter sent me quite a few more scans from the hillcrest magazines. Added a couple more e-mail addresses and had a holiday - thats why I ain't updated it for a while. Keep those e-mail addresses and pictures rolling in 17/08/2000 Added the What's new page. Added a link to Andy Keoghs new page (both in links and with his e-mail address) Added Jeremy Brittains e-mail address, Tidied up the Photos a bit, Started to add names to the Rugby Picture - lots more to do yet though! |
